The Journey to Reconciliation in Action - Getting started
Creating authentic learning environments and experiences for children means creating a space where children, families and communities feel safe, respected, and welcomed. This includes embedding the varying cultural backgrounds and experiences of the staff, children, families who are part of the Early Learning Service, as well as the broader community in which it is placed.
To get to that place we need to set the foundation, so this professional development opportunity is for educators and services who are thinking about Reconciliation and developing an Reconciliation Action Plan. At the end of the professional development you will be on your way to submitting your services RAP.
The learning consists of 4 self-paced modules for you to review and learn either individually or as a team. Your learning materials will show the relationship to Teaching standards for NESA Teaching identified PD, NQS and EYLF. Each module is equivalent to 1 hour of learning.
